&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;p&gt;This will add system-wide path definitions.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3 id="steps"&gt;Steps
&lt;/h3&gt;&lt;p&gt;1- Open /etc/paths in nano:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;code&gt;sudo nano /etc/paths&lt;/code&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2- In nano, add directory paths, e.g. for Python modules like uvicorn or hugo:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;code&gt;/Users/&amp;lt;user&amp;gt;Library/Python/3.9/bin&lt;/code&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Control-x to quit.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Enter “Y” to save the modified buffer.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3- Start a new Terminal session&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
